We found out the dental hygienist that cleaned Avery's teeth, lives close to us and buys hay from Grandpa Damon. Small world!


This was Preston's first time. He did great!

I want to wish my brother, Eric a Happy 31st Birthday! He is 20 months older than me. He is a great brother and loves kids!

New Fire Helmet

Most of you who read this blog probably know that I'm a paid-on-call firefighter and love almost every minute of it. Many people would probably find it a stressful job, and it is from time to time. But, I have found that it serves as an outlet for me, from my every day routine.

Last night, at training, several of us were issued new helmets... so I had to show mine off. The first two pics are of my new helmet and the last pic is of my old helmet. Like you would not have been able to figure that out!!

The MFR part of the title stands for Medical First Responder.

Saturday I brought the boys home around 3:30, so I could do a few things and get back for church. This is where I found Avery! He had put his Michigan football uniform on and had sacked out in front of the fire place! He does not take naps, but I think everyone needs one during camp!

I AM STILL HERE!!!!

Life has been great, just busy! We had a great youth camp and now we are into family camp. I have been taking the boys back and forth to the children's services. They are loving them! While Heather was here we went to the Binder Park Zoo! I'll try to post pictures later. Plus on top of all the fun, I have doctor appointments and I have a list of things to get done before Avery starts school and the new little guy arrives! Before, I sign off I just wanted to mention a few things the boys have told me lately.

Preston: If you put a frog in your mouth, it would be gross, not appropriate!

Avery: Says his favorite Bible story is Joseph, because they did alot of mean things to him, and he never got mad! He also said his favorite disciple is Peter.

They love Bible stories. Last Sunday was to be Sunday School at camp. So, I was asking them what they thought they would have for there Bible story. Avery started inquiring about my class. He wanted to know if I had Bible stories? I said my class would be boring or like preaching. He said I like Pastor John's preaching. He is funny! So, roses to Pastor John!
