Our Trip To Ohio!

Over Memorial Day weekend we went to Salem, Ohio to meet up with my friend Bekah. Her and I met at U.B.C. and quickly became the best of friends! She was my maid of honor and I was her matron of honor. Her seventh anniversary is this August and that was the last time we saw each other. We do talk on the phone, e-mail, send gifts and pictures but we decided it was time to see each other. She came alot further than I did, but her brother lives at Salem. Thanks Bekah for taking the time and effort to help make it possible!

Happy Memorial Day!

Last night we arrived home from Ohio. We met my good friend Bekah! I will post more of our trip later, but today is a special day and I wanted to take the time to recognize someone very special. My grandpa (who is Pop to many of us grand kids) served in World War II. There were five boys in his family counting him. They all five served at the same time, just in different branches. I cannot imagine how my great grandmother must have felt, having all five boys at War. She was a praying mother and I am sure that is what helped bring them home safe. Pop still tells me the stories from those days. Some times he almost breaks up. Those were not easy days, and let us never forget those who did and are still paying the price.

Pop we are proud of you and Love you! This picture is of Pop and my nephew Cade.

Mother's Day Weekend Part Three

My mom, Preston, me, and Avery on Mother's Day morning. It is not a good picture of me, but at least it is all of us.

The boys and I, looking at the card, they got me.

Since, I was gone over Mother's Day, I had Vicki over for Sunday dinner the week before. This was the boys and her, after she opened her gift.

Mother's Day Weekend Part Two

From the boys I received "Brother's" from the Willow Tree Collection

Uncle Eric with Dallas and his friend Tristen.

My wonderful husband got me "Awaiting a Miracle" from the Willow Tree Collection.

Avery and Ty, with the fish Avery caught!

Uncle John took Avery and his son Dallas for a ride. John likes to do stunts on the 4-wheeler. So, when we got home, Avery was wanting to be brave on his. At least, his is only battery operated, and does not have as much power!

Mother's Day Weekend Part One

This was the first time I got to see my new niece Bella.

Papa Rick telling the boys "stories". They love to listen!

Avery with his toad!

Blaine acting like his toad is his lunch! With our new little one, mom will have nine grandsons and three granddaughters. So, you see, when we are all together, it can be exciting!!!

15 Years Ago Today

It is hard to believe that it has been 15 years since I graduated from high school. I graduated on May 14, 1993 from Fredonia Christian Academy. I was a member of the largest class to graduate from Fredonia Christian Academy (there were 3 of us!).

In one way, it seems like it wasn't that long ago... but, on the other hand, so much has taken place during the past 15 years. Including the few white hairs that are starting to appear on my head (maybe they are just light blond hairs!).

Until next time, keep smiling!!

Number Three Is A Boy!

We found out that we are going to have another boy. He is due September 14th. We are excited to see what he will be like. Avery and Preston are so different. I have been told Avery is a Damon and Preston is a Brett. They both do have brown eyes. I vote for this one to have blue eyes, like his daddy. The other day Avery and I were talking about him going to school this fall. I said: "What am I going to do without you." He thought a little and said: "You will have someone to take my place. The baby. Then you'll have two boys." I thought that was cute.
